How can I become a dental hygienist in Texas? I recently moved to the U.S. and I’m living in Houston, Texas. I’m interested in becoming a dental hygienist, but I’m not sure where to start. I’d like to know what steps I should take, such as which programs to apply to, what prerequisites are required, and if there are any licensing exams. I’d also appreciate advice about affordable schools or community colleges in Texas.
How do I prepare for a start in Commercial Script Writing?
I am a Voiceover artist and an aspiring commercial script writer. I am preparing to finish an associate's degree in Marketing Management and later Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Since I am close to finishing my associates I wonder what jobs/opportunities/freelance should I be doing now to prepare to find work as a commercial script writer. I am doing voiceover at the moment as well and I love analyzing commercial scripts and often wonder what other jobs could I look towards that align with voiceover and commercials? I know this wont be an easy niche to break into but even if I don't get a chance at being a commercial script writer I can take other avenues around the advertising/commercial field.
What’s the best path to become an electrician apprentice in Texas Union, IEC, or private company??
Hi! I just graduated with a degree in Computer Science, but I’m considering switching careers to become an electrician. I have a solid math and physics background and recently got my Texas electrician apprentice license. Now I’m unsure whether I should: Apply to IBEW Local 716 (but their training only starts in the fall) Join IEC (which has open enrollment) Or try to find a licensed master electrician or company to work with independently and accumulate hours toward my journeyman license My long-term goal is to get the 8000 hours needed to become a journeyman. I’d really appreciate any guidance, and I sincerely hope someone out there might be willing to mentor or guide me as I start this journey. Thank you!
Hey! So I’m in going in to my last year of high school in the UK, and want to apply for Harvard undergraduate Legal Studies, but I’m only taking 3 subjects at school. My grades are good, and I work hard, also volunteer and do some extracurricular activities. Would I have a chance of being accepted because of my low amount of subjects? If not, is there any other colleges you could recommend where I can do undergraduate Legal Studies? It has to have dorms though. My main priority is Harvard, but I just need honest advice. Also need a scholarship!! There’s no way I can afford an Ivy League, any advice helps.

Hi, I'm a rising junior interested in becoming an orthodontist and I want to know how much I'll be able to take on once I go to college. I've heard you can get some Associates degrees online, which is something I've recently become interested in. My question is could I get an Associates in Dental Assisting online whilst simultaneously working towards a Bachelors Degree (bio or chem) in person? If not, I'll settle with a Bachelors, but I'm curious if both are attainable as I don't want to spend more time than I have to. Thank you!
