Could I truly fulfill the role as a future Doctor if I don't challenge our unfair healthcare system?

As someone who wants to be a Doctor in the future this is something I think about a lot. I want to help everyone but realistically I can’t because the system is rigged to help those who have more money rather than people who need more help. If I don’t take the risk to help others can I truly call myself a doctor? I don’t want to be a doctor for the money, but to help patients. Humanity doesn’t need more money, but more care. #Spring25

How much do job recruiters look at GPA as a determinent for hiring someone?

Are grades something I need to be stressing out about? i.e., if I were to get a C as a final grade in one of my major college classes, do I need to worry about it, or perhaps retake the class?

How good of an idea is it to work on your doctorate at the same time as being an adjunct professor?

I'm a high school senior and aspiring linguistics major who intends to become a professor and obtain their PhD. I've heard about adjunct professorship and that while it is very important to become a tenured professor, it's as time-intensive as tenured professorship with significantly less pay. Would these two goals at the same time be too overwhelming or hard to balance? I'd like to hear professional opinions!

Based on your experience, on average, how likely is a hospital or clinic willing to hire a woman as a doctor over a man? If possible, please include region (location) of experience.

I want to become a medical doctor in the future and gender equality is something that I highly prioritize, especially in a future workplace. I asked this question to gain more information about where I would have a higher chance of employed and whether or not the health care community is more accepting of women doctors than in years past. #doctor #healthcare #equality #womensrights #futurejob #futurecareer

What is "Business Development"?

Hi, I'm in high school and I think I'm going to work in advertising, but I am still learning about other options. Someone came to speak at our school and said that she worked "in business development". I couldn't figure out what she really does. What does business development really mean, and is it part of marketing, or is it part of something else? It sounds like building a business, so I thought maybe it means that she works at a startup. #marketing #business-development #startups
